ND 42 i9 axis land attack
One land attack - On Rostov.
I did use Manstein for HQ support. GE flying one bomber and one fighter.
Russians can fly a bomber and a fighter as well. Will you?

Yes, the bomber and fighter will fly. Objective is (1) get USSR bomber through and (2) shot down or abort German bomber.

In the A-A over Rostov, both bombers were aborted.
In the land combat I had both sides lead with winterized units. The fractional missed, but the attack roll more than made up for it.
The first time through, I had an extra click in selecting the destroyed units and the game managed to not destroy the division, so when I went to advance after combat I was not allowed to enter the hex. Redid it taking care to destroy the units without any extraneous clicks and then it worked. I will see if I can replicate tomorrow and place a bug report on the Tech Support Forum.
I will finish the turn tomorrow and get the game file to you in my early afternoon.

ND42 i9 done, turn continues, weather stays poor, but not as bad as it could be.
Note, JP moved a CA and amph to Manila and then reorganized them with a couple of transports in the China Sea.

Turn 20. Nov/Dec 1940. Allied #11. RN Naval Moves (Two, combine).
1. A lone CP moves from Victoria, Seychelles into the Arabian Sea (adjacent to port). As this CP is headed for the Eastern Med to attempt to reestablish supply to the CW forces there the IJN attempts to intercept using their fighter for the attempt. The attempt fails and the CP continues unmolested to the East Med.
2. The RN BB Warspite and CA Effingham, which are now back in supply, sortie from Alexander to the 3-box of the East Med.

Turn 20. Nov/Dec 1942. Allied #11. USN Naval Moves 1 & 2 of 3 (Combine).
1. The BB Maryland moves form Pearl to the 1-box of the Marshalls.
2. The BB Washington also moves from Pearl to the Marshalls but goes to the 4-box to met up with a fighter and naval air unit flown out from Pearl during the naval air phase.

The USN decides NOT to attempt to initiate combat; however, the IJN submarine unit that failed the intercept attempt can.

The RN will not to attempt to initiate combat in the East Med. However, the Italians can if they wish. The only additional air unit that the CW has available that could react is a fighter based on the coast in Egypt.
Do the Italians wish to attempt to initiate combat? If so, what are their orders if contact is made?
