It's free stuff. I don't need it, but it's about time the dullards working in clothing stores actually let me have some kit for a change. I don't know what the rest of the world is like, but in the RAF at least, the stackers apparently pay for all our kit out of their own money. [8|]

Do you know when you'll leave?

Some point between now and July. In theory I'm ready to move, but in actuality I'm nowhere near! I've not done the courses they're making me do, I've not contacted the section down there, I don't have any cold weather gear and I've got no transport down to Brize sorted.

Are you suggesting that your administrative aspects of the RAF or the British military may not be fully informed of your needs? That there may be inefficiencies or duplication of effort in future deployment arrangements? Because that would never happen in any other...

Wait...never mind...I was thinking of something else.

I'm suggesting they're fully aware of my needs but are terrible at their jobs. They already tacked an extra (pointless) course onto my prep work after I avoided a similar one a few months back. I can't wait to spend a week at Brize Norton learning about large aeroplanes.

I recieved a turn on the 26th, yes, to which i responded on the 27th. I haven't recieved any turn after that [&:]

You know , I'm foolish. I keep thinking that there ought to be somewhere where I can discuss strategy and tactics in a historical as well as current perspective. No one seems to be able to do this without getting personal. Is there any where in the internet that I can find a place where mature , intelligent adults can get together and discuss such matters , without pissing off each other as well as the authorities?
