Here's a question for his...well...the chap known on THE THREAD as "sprior": With so many bloody "Robin Hood" movies laying claim to the Nottingham legends, you must have a ranking system for judging them? Care to let us in on your Nottingham-esque judgements?

Wouldn't the Queen screamed "Off with his head" for that? I hear the royals are pretty touchy about people falsely claiming noble titles... And with the RN not performing..well, not as one might expect in the war...

In a sense, yes. Lots of animals serve, Lord Admiral Sprior. Mules and horses would be amongst the larger animals represented, I'd imagine, in the US Army. Elephants are probably still used in the Myanmar or Thai armies. Many more dogs (sniffer, guard, patrol, etc.) represented in our army. Some of the veterinarians that accompanied Gulf War I's liberation of Kuwait found themselves busily taking care of abandoned lions and the like at the zoo.
It's a man's life in the USA Veterinary Corps. [8D]
Now I'm curious about what qualifies as a "small animal" and how those are used. [:D]

I'd add crabs and lice as well but on further consideration that seems to be a somewhat different medical specialization.
