Rarely if ever will you find a feat of arms more heroic.... and more suicidal. Rear-Admiral Karel Doorman, aboard the small cruiser De Ruyter, leads the British Town-class cruiser HMS Manchester into battle against one of the newest battleships afloat.

Full speed is ordered as the Allied ships desperately try and close the range to launch their torpedoes....

I quit from today now as I received email from AllenK and I have to do all this again (not a big deal but no point moving forward anymore). I did some moves to Japs but they were not correct ones.

The Allied cruisers give a good account of themselves, Doorman makes himself live bait in order to give Manchester a free run. The ploy works and two torpedoes from the British ship slam into the side of the German leviathan.

The Bismarck's vitals are not hit and she is able to break off from her pursuers using her magnificent 15-inchers to keep the pesky cruisers at bay. Running low on fuel in the stormy seas, both Allied ships return to port.

Yes. When the action resumes the French cruiser Algérie will organize a hunt for Bismarck.
