Are all the files correct? Please check them again.

BTW it would be so much easier to see who sent the wrong files if all players were sending their turns to the live.it address you set up specifically for the game.

I don't have anymore the files you sent first so please everybody (McCoy, Ironclad and Carl) to send them again (not need you remake the move)

n.b. problem, when I tried to combine, was the error message 'visual C++ runtime libra ry...assertion failed' + crash

Rats, I was going to volunteer the services of Mother Russia to do Swedens turn.  Strictly a selfless act on my part of course <G>.

And if I did it for you, you would not even have to go to the trouble of leaving instructions.[:D]

I formatted hard disk, I reinstalled the game, I read some FAQ...but I was not able to make the program work..I will send you the resulting files so (if you receive the same message as mine) you too can try to solve this problem

Is this on the same machine that you merged the previous turns?

Can you post a screenshot of the files you are trying to merge?

If it will help I will be glad to try and do a test merge.&nbsp; I am Spain in the Danish Too game so I know the merge process works fine on either of my computers.

Carl I 'd love to let you do my turns, but Im afraid I 'd be left with just my capital in a couple of game months. It would make the game simpler for me though-thank you for your consideration.[:D]

Just want to repeat my request that all players send their files to westphalian at live.it address set up specifically for this game so we can all notice if somebody sends the wrong file in the future.

WITH NEW MC COY FILES IS THE SAME..it's strange that when I select 'end turn' the program asks me if Brit, Austrian and Prussian troops can exit from French.

You have to answer those. I want to withdraw, so please select Yes for me. I would be surprised if the other powers didn't also want to withdraw. There are only a few reasons not to do so after a victory.

It's a result of France surrendering.

What happens after you answer Yes or No?

If you answer Yes to all the questions and then get an error message please post a screenshot of it (printscreen and paste to paint) so we can see.

Aqui, describe in full what happens, what the error message says and post a screenshot.

I am asking a player who has merged a bunch of turns in "Another PBEM" to look and see if he has run into this.

Crossing my fingers that this has happened to him and he knows why and how to avoid it, otherwise this could be a real pain.

I am afraid its more serious than that. I ve sent the files 4 times. Just made the usual mistake once.

Aqui, Mus forwarded the screenshot of the 'Error message' but I'm afraid I haven't come across that ... (yet)

What, "may?", work for you is deleteing all the turns returned files currently in the PBEM folder, then reload them from the emails and try again, it's a bummer I know but it's the sort of thing you sometimes have to do as 'the Merger', failing that then it's gonna be a Tech suport job, sorry can't be of any greater help.

Aqui, just an Afterthought, remember the whole of the 'Merge' process must be done as a continious action. So what I do if those 'Withdrawl' questiond come up is say "Yes" to complete the merge then email the individuals concerned and post on the Game MB, 9x out of 10, "Yes" will be what they wish so you can then just send out the new turn, if someone answers "No" then swear lots very loudly & kick next doors cat, then redo the whole of the merge process again.
