Allies recieved a "main body" report from just south of Trinket.

IJAAF has worn down the Andaman air defense to a point where it appears FatR has started moving transport ships forward for a possible invasion.

This should be fun

Battle fleet w/ CV attached has sat on L.A.  Up til this turn i could resupply Andamans at will.  I lost about 5 AKs around Andamans this turn to IJN sub action....  not safe on the port, not safe on the sea.

Burma:

A few turns ago allied intel received this tidbit:
Image

This data has caused me not to overcommit into Burma.  The complexity of the situation places me in a quandry as to :
Can I force a Central Burma attack w/ the threat of an invasion in the rear?
I suspect that w/ the equvalant of 6 DB SQNs in the area IJN could not make a good resupply effort.
On the down side I see that Chittachong is a level 7 airfield....
Chinese elements have linkedw/ the Brits in northern Burma. Ledo controlled by IJA w/ 6 armor regiments...IIRRC I must hold Ledo to get the China suppy. I plan to use the b25/26 w/ chinese Lusu army to clear the hex.

China:
No effort by IJA to expand up north.  Seems a 37 stack army was seen headed south from Sian around the 1st of September. IJA has stalled around Changsha.  Continued attacks coming from the south.
With less pressure up north I have too many units in that area.

Australia:
I have turned Hobart into a big gas station.  No fuel on  australia itself..Not sure this is a good idea but I do have plenty of fuel now for the southern fleet.
IJA picked a fight at port headland...good experience for the Aussies.
Put a brigade Plus at Cocos,  Did not move fast enough to get xmas Indian ocean[:(]

Sopac:
Japs have a strong 3 base defense around Lunga.
Same situation around Milne bay.  will have to advance w/out air cover.  dangerous to take these bases until I get moe CVs.

Cenpac:   Jap Ak fleet showed up at Xmas w. some CVs about 5 turns ago...Wish they had given me another front....I had the 27th and 41st Divisions prepped and in position w/ lots of support and 200000 supply.  2nd,3rd marines, a NZ divisiona nd about3 more separate regiments make up the rest of the Sopac land forces. FTR has about 150 p40s scattered from Xmas to Eastern Aus.  A good defense but I wonder if I can push forward w/ out a direct base attack against the Japs....

Norpac:  islands around Dutch Harbor each have one regiment plus support at each site.  Average fort level of 3.  I am sending up air as it becomes available.

Wait wait... I play as the Japs, and my sign int screen only shows location and radio/heavy volume radio... Allies get much more SignInt, or have I missed something?

I have had trouble w/ the signet part of tracker.  Currently cant get the intel to load.  May be because I usually load 7 or more turns at one time.

I wonder if FatR is trying to set up a West Coast Blockade w/ his CV fleet?   Look at this intel from this turn. Precautions will be taken.

For the 500 daily supply to flow automatically to China, you must clear a road/rail route from Rangoon to China.

Great AAR, btw. Good luck!

Sorry, not Ledo, But the other L??? Lasho? anyway, thanks for the kind comments...I must remind all I am greatful to Yubari for the dominate Andaman position..I really have done nothing except hold the line. I am looking forward to a 44/45 game. Thought this would be a real test for the allies and me. I sense my skill level below FatR. To be the best you have to play the best.

South China shock attack w/ alot of jap armor. Units got blown out of hex.  All the jap armor in the chinese theatre. Note elements of 1st IJA armored Division in the attack...I use this unit in my other game to help clean up the chinese rear areas.

I thought at some point the IJ would go over to the defense.

B24s trying to suppress the Umnak landing.  IJN fighters unable to stop my ground support. IJA has 3 divisions. I have a doubled defense w/ a level 4 fort, 150AV, one coast AA and one ART Bn.. Just Maybe....and more air support is avialable but I was afraid to commit because I did not know the defensive cap strenght.

Umnak was fort 4...air evac of wounded was intercepted. All men on the island realize the end is near unless massive allied air is brought to help.
