Went to the tea shop yesterday to restock. Bought almost 1 kg of tea. Time to brew a pot from the new stock. Anyone want a cup? I got some honey on the side. [:)]
A honey on the side? Does your wife know and approve? [:D]

No wife. So, at the moment, I have honey to sweeten my tea.

Interesting fact is Turkish tea is more popular and more traditional than Turkish coffee in Türkiye now. Historically Yemen and Southern Sudan was the provider of coffee long before tea was introduced in Ottoman times. Tea is only century old and produced locally.

Thank you for sharing.
Seems odd though that Turkish tea is that young.

Well i prefer coffee, elephants do as well if anyone catch my point.
Tea growth\plantages and elephant natural paths conflict. If it´s OK to mention that too, don´t want to take away anyone´s tea from them but elephants needs love as well.
I hope they can make it work for both parties eventually.

Some people claim that elephants are quite tasty [:D] so that solves the conflict so no problem.

As with most things on this planet there are different interests that conflict with each other. All we can strive for is to make a better world, and try to solve conflicts to the best of our abilities.

Well, if people were to kill and eat the elephants near the tea plantations then there would be no problem with the tea production. I understand that the elephants are quite tasty and some of them have pretty long teeth that can use turned into decorations and such things as well.
I would not suggest going up to and hugging a wild elephant as that can ruin your whole day. [;)]

I´ll take the company of a pack of elephants any day before a "nice" tea party sitting with a bunch of judgmental, prejudice and self absorbed humans that are just too full of themselves and treat animals like objects with no feelings.
Animals never judge you for who you are, they just live and let live according to A SET OF NATURAL RULES.
"I would not suggest going up to and posting on a hooman forum since that can ruin your whole day".
G´day [:)

This is a gaming site not an environmentalist site, I suggest that you check your attitude.

And you need to step off my case, stop following me around. Get a decent attitude yourself and i don´t care for how long you have been here. It doesn´t give you the right to patronize me here.

I am not following you around, I don't even now where you live. I do have a decent attitude and I don't make insulting posts just to be insulting.

Me neither, and frankly. You may type what you want but you have deliberately talked to me like i should know something and that i have a bad attitude, yes you imply that, where? I feel attacked here now. So, to stop this into escalating, as a fellow Swede said elsewhere, i suggest we stop replying to each other entirely, it´s for the best. But perhaps it´s best i leave or something. All for the sake of peace here on the forum.
Have a good day then and it stops right here this bickering. Thank you

Ok, I feel like a few things have been lost in translation here and you know, it's the internet and it happens.
The stuff about eating the elephants was meant as dry humour Protonic...
Conversely, it's a big world out there, remember when English is your second language it can sometimes be hard to discern the humour from a serious point.
Lets draw a line under this guys and get back to talking about our favourite kinds of tea.
...
Errr, starting with someone else as I kind of don't like tea

. Milk or otherwise... Shocking for a British person I know...
Thanks guys

When you state that you don't like tea, is that the mini meal or the beverage? [&:]
Do perchance like tisanes? No milk but maybe honey? [:D]

I don't like tea or coffee, I am not a fan of beer either... I just don't like how they taste :p.
I like fizzy drinks and hard spirits. Everyone at the barracks back in the day thought I was trying to fit in when I drank vodka all the time at the bar (cheapest place on earth to get a drink, btw). When I brought my own 50%'er in from my collection because the squaron stuff was junk, attitudes changed

.
I miss it. Well, I don't miss doing drill because I have two left feet, but hey

Well, I now have trouble walking because of my right foot so I guess having two left feet would be difficult unless you also had two right feet to go along with them. [8|]
As far as bier, I prefer German lager.
I pretty much gave up on hard liquor after giving away to small glasses from a litre of Jack Daniels then I remember giving away two small glasses of Hennessy cognac and I as told that I finished it. I made it to work the next day. [:D]

It appears to be a good day for tea. Honey and lemon, or maybe a bump - if I had something to "bump" it with! [:D]

Honey? Lemon? GET OUT! There's always one willing to spoil it for the rest of us isn't there? Well this behaviour is not big, it's not clever. If you want to be wrecking a nice cup of Rosie with your fancy schmancy, highfalutin, honey and lemon, then you do it elsewhere RangerJoe.
[slams door] .....and stay out!!
[Composes one's self] Now, I'm off the the kitchen. Would anyone like a nice cup of tea.... with milk - sugar optional? I might just throw in a nice hot crumpet.

Tea and crumpet eh. Some Breakfast Tea (two sugars) would be spot on! [:)]
