This Hun and Luftwaffe Inf divisions must have been the reinforcements sent.
The are on rr but probably could only unload the prior turn and not advance.

German rescue force gets a hsaty retreat

The stack retreats easily from a hasty tank attack as I funnel tanks thru the breakthrough hex.

I do not have a final position picture.

I also push the 7-7 German unit back onto the German HQ. I think Model is command of that hq. I bomb it.
I also push the 4-4 Rumanian Inf back onto the swamp rr hex and rout the Army Group south hq under it.

I push a tank unit up to the swamp which means train reinforcements will not be able to get to the front line next turn.

Also I wedge a tank to the left where I retreated that Luftwaffe stack so that they can't get to breakthrough hex from that side.

And this is where the game is now with Pelton having to figure out what the heck to do.

the only issue I see with a push out of the Crimea is truck use, since the rail lines in the Crimea I dont believe work for supply. Its one of the reasons after I retook it I didnt push hard further north was so I wasnt burning trucks- wanted to stay close to the ports for re-supply distance. Maybe im wrong on this but it seemed when I looked at supply distance all my units were tracing to the ports, could be that I had retaken the ground tho and the rr engineers wont fix it until the main route re-opens in my game tho.

I kept enough forces there to keep him honest but all the tanks and heavy artillery shifted back to the Kharkov/DZ operations.

But then I bump up against the 27th Panzer at the swamp hex.

The prior turn Pelton had pushed my tank unit back and thus able to
get the tank division into the front swamp via the train.

Send up an alert.

A NEW hex has been attacked.

I want to get to west of the river for summer tank terrain.

This is now a secondary attack which will be fed if successful.

Large attack on GD.

Please notice Vasilesky is in command.
In 2 turns the HQ displace/change hq bug will hit and Zuchov will take over this unit.

Final positions.

I should catch a few German units in my net.

Also note my rr repair unit. It too will do a displace move via the displace bug.

looking really good so far. Your truck situation even went up from 88 to 92k despite all the crimea action. Keep it up and you will be in Berlin by summer 1944. :-)
