TDV launches major infantry north east from Volshilvograd. Again trapping Russian army.

1 hex supply line to Kharkov, after I reestablish supply to the East.

He took his tanks which were near Orel and moved them circular north east to free his other troops,
which were in front of big V. Then used those to widen the breach.

Rostov is safe for now and its VP's.

It looks like that there would be a huge pocket next turn with 10-20 Germany motorize divisions being herded into a 4-5 hexes area in the middle of the 11 hexes wide gap. The north pincer of Germany side could do nothing in Mud (too weak), the south pincer just too far away, Germany would not release the pocket in MUD. With or without this pocket, Germany is almost certain to lose this game, it is just too disastrous Germany performance in 1942. The Germany player is completely blind to what his opponent can do, and just wish what he want to achieve.

For a long time I had good fighters doing zilch way up North.
I finally redeployed these high 90 morale fighters to here a few turns ago.

Fresh and deadly.

These results are clearly because of the experienced fighter crews being moved into the area.

Final south positions.

Mud arrives. I hold Krasnodar and now threaten his Southern city port defended by the Rumanaians.

I need to worry if he can somehow redeploy Armor down here.

Not likely at this time.

The issue is with mud you should crush his army since he didnt pull back. Then VPs wont matter as his lines will fall apart over the winter.

I threaten his northen city but Ivanovo had enough German INF to be impossible to take. Better to flank the area and cause a retreat.

He holds that one city just East of the area. And looks as If he does not want to give it up.

I cannot save my inf and tank Guard corp .

His not taking Tula has been large to saving the south. Plus the large VP.

Final positions just before mud.

At the time this happened my attention was to fully retreat out and maintain lines East until strength increases.
With his tanks now cut off, the issue is more nuanced and maybe retreat out of Kharkov is unwise.

here is the escape route close up.

Next turn is mud.

I will try and attack his cut off tanks and eliminate them during the mud.

I hope they go.

I have 3 mud in 42?

If they don't die, I will have major issue If I don't retreat.

T 69 Recap

by BrianG
As one can see these latest turns were from August 2015.

At that time TDV said he was very busy at work. ( I think seeing his tank army stuck in mud deep in enemy territory has been ........?

I have not pressed him to continue this game which is still officially active.
Maybe I should send him an email.

Thus,I have now revealed the last and latest positions in this war.

This game is now fully open for any discussion. The next moves are his. In MUD!

I HAVE SURVIVED!

2 months with no turns is probably game over......I dont see anyway for him to get the encircled troops in mud.....to strong of units and to many hexes to reach them....not to mention how weak his units are.
