It was a draw and Jim played a great game. But I ended up winning in points due to some mistakes he made early on. Good game Jim look forward to seeing you in the semi-finals.

Amendments:
1. There will be a limit on the number of heavy AA guns purchase, maximum set is platoon size. Being realistic you can't think one could use them as attack weapon by moving and firing them in the same round. It's a heavy Flak gun so get real and since the game engine allows it, this limitation will keep its use to a fair level.

No sign of Scharschutze for a while now
I'm up for a concurrent round 2 game, rbrunsman or anyone?

If you haven't heard fro him for more that 3 days and he didn't let you know about the delay, you get automatic point for Round 1. rbrunsman can play with you.

To my opponent: email me at mailto:
wtruitt1@tampabay.rr.com and lets get started. I played USSR last game so this Game it is time for me to play the USA.
Brutto Bob You out there?

He (Scharfschutze) has hardware problems. The game is still on, just waiting for him to sort things out ...
So rbrunsman, UK vs US, 1942 in the desert I presume

My email is
squirmer@tpl.uklinux.net. Prefer large 100x80 map, otherwise whatever.

Squirmer, I like the large map too. You can set up if you want to, if not, I'll do it. Just let me know what other rules you want to play by.

Hi. I am just waiting for the game files from Kanonenfutter for round 1, and we should be underway shortly.

Actually, I am looking forward to solving my hardware problems before the weekend. Experience tells me that I cannont guarantee anything, though. Should I have forfeited my position, so be it...
Good Luck to everyone!

Scharfschütze, if you are in contact with your opponent about the problem and it looks like you are, there is no problem. We all have h/w problems once in a while. Hope you get it fixed.

Hi Red
Germany defeats the American invaders!
Kat wannabees (PzIIIh) crush the M4 wannabees (Stuarts)
TheOverlord defeats sztartur, round 1.
Ready for the next match up!
I have to play the US in the next one:rolleyes:

LEts do it like this: If I get going before this weekend, I would really like to nail those remaining cossacks and KVs, if my streak of bad luck with used motherboards continues, I will surrender to the commies. Hope this is agreeable!

I have surrendered my game against Dodger. I have had my fill of Finns in the winter with T-34 and hords of heavy AA.
I for one, am all for the rules addendum of limiting these assets to a platoon!
Please line me up with my round 2 opponent. Thanks!

I'll contact you today Overlord.
Correction to CPTs post: I only had 2 75mm guns capable of move/fire.
Rest was 20mm or 40mm unable to move and fire during same turn.
Good game anyways.

I am hoping to get round 1 with Kanonenfutter underway soon. It will have been past 3 days since I have heard from him after about 9:30 A.M. UTC (Universal Coordinated Time) on 3/12. Has anyone heard from him?
