I think he's got auto-victory, if he wants it.

The Philippines are mostly stalemated, with him having an edge. More on Melbourne below. I'm setting my sights on the Marshalls next, contingent on the arrival of Wasp and the two RN carriers from Colombo. Troops need to fully train yet anyway. More battleships would be nice to add to the invasion TFs. I like to put them there instead of a separate bombardment TF, as they seem to kill more troops when they're with the landings. Eniwetok, Kwajalein, Roi-Namur and Wotje are all getting troops assigned and I plan to hit them all at once. Base forces and planes will be very close behind the invaders, so I can dump everyone off quickly and be gone soon.

I dont know how much that attack on Melbourne represents - I don't know the Japanese OOB well enough...

..but he has to be very thin everywhere with Manchuria, China, Burma troop garrison levels..
