(Wallas its your turn )

Guys we didnt do our turn in almost two weeks and Im getting pressure from the Germans. We are going to start doing the turns of those who are not present in order to accelerate things. If Wallas is not present in 1-2 days, we will need someone to do his turn.

Air turn done, Drakken its your turn.

Im going to be doing the turn by tomorrow night ( morning presently ) if no answer.

Drakken hasn't responded to my last email either. The game we have going is probably a write off.

Somehow I don't get email sent to me when any posts are made on this thread, and I don't regularly check this section anyway. So sorry that I have not replied. I'm fine with whatever you command. I'll defend the south with whatever units you assign me. We can also move the dividing line between south and centre fronts further north if it costs too much to transfer some armies to the centre.

Centre is done. We will wait another day for North commander to do his turn. Well actually Psych0, do your turn whenever you want, that will leave time for Doctorking to do his turn maybe.

OK, all done. Looking pretty good up on my front compared to you guys. I managed to open up the Velikie Luki pocket and presumably those guys will now get routed. Germans doing a long slog towards Leningrad through the hills and forts. I could use a bunch of AP at some point to reorganize and put at least two of those armies into Northern instead of Northwest Front in order to make supply and support work better. And I was hoping at least for a few points this turn to switch some guys around from army to army.

AGS is not progressing too fast. Allow3d me to send some units to 10 hexes behind the front on refit to build morale. Expecting them back on the line next turn if AGS starts to hug the Dnepr in preparation to get across.

Bit disappointed with all paratroopers disappearing Wallas. What are they doing there around Pavlova?! They need to screen the Dnepr to delay AGS further or you need to rail them to centre sector to help out there. Now I was forced to evac Dnepropetrovsk industry. Hope Bryansk and Kiev can be evacuated next turn.

We need those paratroopers on the Moscow front if they are not being use in the south.

We also have a tank division far in the enemy rear, and they dont have any troops close. Part of the 33rd Army if I am remembering it right. I moved them one hex, and will continue moving them until they disrupt their supply lines.

Psych0 maybe we could use those units (the ones you said you sent 10 hex away ) as reserve forces for Moscow ? Or will you absolutely need them as reserves ?

Moscow Strategy

I was thinking, maybe we could retreat all of our forces in the middle to South and North fronts. In order to boost these fronts with a huge amount of troops compared to our enemies. And while yes, we would loose Moscow, but we could come back in the winter to re-capture it. And the Germans would see their troops advanced so much in so little, that the supply lines wont be able to reach them in time, making them weak.

Whats everyone's opinion on that ?

IMHO we should delay advance to Moscow as much as possible without losing further units!

South of Moscow we can totally give up, so Tula-Voronezh-Kharkov. Just screen that with paratroopers at 4 hexes from the enemy every turn.

And my units on refit are already assigned to southern armies so would cost too much AP to reassign to centre armies. Better to direct all/most reinforcements to centre.

Yeah pretty much all reinforcement is going to center. Everything I can find is on its way there. I believe we should delay too, well, that was my first idea, but with the huge loss of troops we are going to loose in the center, will we even be able to defend ? or will it be another massacre.. Thats why Im thinking to save the troops remaining... Decisions, Decisions.... Hard decisions....

I cant believe they are that close and we are late July.

Any news from Drakken? Have we lost him? Is anyone replacing him?

BTW, I managed to screw up my save. Cracaces called it to my attention and I went in and fixed it. So hopefully my guys ended up moved in the saved game they got.

I am fairly much OK with my position. I'd like some AP to build a fortification both in Schisselburg and on the north side of the Neva at that point and if somebody could dig up some good Sapper Regiments and transfer them to Northern Front I'd appreciate it. Seems like sappers don't do much digging until they have decent experience levels so my usual habit of creating new ones for my fortified regions doesn't actually help.

And if you leave me some rail capacity next turn I can send a couple of armored divisions down to the Moscow region.

Im just not sure how much AP we will have next turn, probably not a lot. We will see in time.


No news from Drakken yet. Il be making his turn until he comes back or we find a replacement.

They will have their turn done by tonight. I will do my turn into tonight or this morning. And then Il do the Central Front is Drakken is still not back.

Oh my god...we are SO FUCKED on the central front, its unbelievable.

They encircled ALL of our troops. ALL defenses in the center is lost.
The South has been broken trough
The North has a pocket.
