Largely unchanged. The pressure on my lumbar nerves has been most eased, so now I "only" have blinding back pain, instead of that AND blinding leg pain. Long way to go.

I am on painkillers, but they're not doing it. I've got a doctor's appointment on Monday to talk about getting the next step up. It comes with an exciting new variety of side effects, apparently.

You could watch TMTSNBN and maybe be so enraged as to distract you from the back pain... Just a thought!

I knew a man in his 90s who said that he never bought green bananas because he wasn't sure if he would live to see them ripen. I think that it was because he liked them with a little brown skin.

Hmmm.... I've read reports that say that bananas with a little brown skin are loaded with anti-carcinogens. Maybe he was onto something. He did make it well into his 90s.

I know that some folks swear by that method (and I've seen it done any number of times), but I draw the line at that. It's like mouth pipetting in a laboratory. Why take the zoonotic disease risk? That's just dumb. There are so many better ways of accomplishing the same thing that don't put the handler / surgeon at risk.
