Space 1999 was a terrible show[:D]

Bite your tonque.

It was an AWESOME show.

Bell bottom uniforms........analog clocks.....B/W television screens...comlocks and those sexy Eagles that sounded like Jet airliners when they took off. ooooooo. Got the whole shabang on DVD. Do have to admit though that Season two is a bit of an embarrasement as an adult. As a kid though i was hoodwinked by the sexy alien babe and the laser guns. Season one though was classic.....some episodes were downright creepy.

GF unit and i renamed it "DramaStar Galactica" a long time ago. Blech. Bring on the camp of the original Battlestar. [:D]

unfortunately the whole "gritty human drama" thang has spread like a virus to the Stargate series. We now have "DramaGate" (aka StarGate Universe) I was never a huge fan of StarGate Atlantis (and felt the original was still the best and should have been kept on) but i like Atlantis better than DramaGate.

I still remember it (I watched it as a kid)... I didn't find it so bad... [:)]

BTW, I still remember the original "Battlestar Gallactica" (from the 1970's) as well... that was, to me, of less quality than Space: 1999... [:D]

And the new Galactica is worse than both...

Yep... it is worse... I agree...

But, since there is nothing new of SF (TV series) to watch, what can one do...
