Apparently MGM canceled James Bond 007 forever... they simply don't have money to make it...

I've enjoyed the two most recent 007 movies with Daniel Craig as Bond more than ever. [8D]

I sure hope it's a temporary setback.

I didn't realize how much AMD processors were cheaper than Intel.

Yep... they are cheeper...

Nonetheless I would still buy Intel (i-series)... [;)]

BTW, I had two (2) AMD CPUs imn my PC over the years - those were the only times the AMD was actually faster (i.e. better bang for the buck) than Intel!

There are crocodiles and/or alligators (i.e. whatever lives in the Everglades) on the right side of the bank... I would not want to move to the side of the road with them there... [:D]

We think that the last two bonds are very good and almost on par with Sean Connery in the 1960's...

I hope it's temporary but one never knows... it even might be for good...


BTW, those movies are expensive to make - the "Quantum of Solace" cost about 200 million $ - but it eventually earned 550+ million $.

Perhaps they simply can't find the bank to finance 200 - 300 million $ and wait until movie pays off... [&:]

I heard Quantum of Solace was terrible but I did enjoy Casino Royale, I still think Dr. No is the best one out of all of them.

Quantum of Solace was not as good as Casino Royale, IMO. Too whiz-bang, run run, action for the sake of action, hurry hurry, no time for plot development. Casino Royale did a nice job of staying close to the original novel (novel! [;)]) and showed a very human element of James Bond.
