Crazy busy at work lately. Looking more and more like a weekend of work coming up. [:(]

Why so busy, dude?

Another project has been having lots of technical problems and they are now way behind and up against a hard deadline for early next week. It's just now in good enough shape that testing can really begin, so it's all hands on deck for testing.

Hello guys,

there is some fun up here in my City.

While checking air attack photos of WWII, which are common when you want to build somewhat new here, two dud bombs were identified.

Nothing that great to this point, bombs were found on daily basis here in Germany.

The special thing is "....one of them seems to be quite bigger than the usual 500lb bomb..."

My guess: Its one of the famous 4000lb british Cookies.

10.000 People are to be evacuated...iam outside the area only 100 meters.

Defusing of the bombs is planned at August 31.

Will update.

See link for area:-)

Have you started moving your irreplaceables just in case? Photographed EVERYTHING for a possible insurance claim? And doublechecked to make sure that your insurance covers "large things going BOOM in the neighborhood"?[:D]

Well that was my first idea, force majeure (war risk, etc.), but here is no war, at least yet:-)

And i think iam too far away, even for a HC4000, too.

And no matter what happens...on monday, me and wife, with the car we are at Holiday in croatia.

So what...i will clean up the place when iam back.[:D]

I had several really good friends while I was in college and going through the ROTC program there. Kelly Hodge, Lieutenant Colonel US Army, retired, was one of those guys. He passed away this week. My class of ROTC cadets was about 30 in size and Kelly is the first one of us to move on to a different deployment.

RIP Kelly. You will be missed, brother!
