I believe I destroyed 58 Soviet units in turn 22: 43 infantry types, 5 armoured divisions, 8 guns, and 2 naval units. Here's the Axis losses so far:

Hey you guys.......I have evidence that the Air Briefing lies to the friendly player. I went through all the END_OF_TURN_DO_NOT_SEND files and got all the air briefing screens and did a cut and paste of the reports onto one picture and then went to a spreadsheet to add them up and found out that the total for the individual screens doesn't add up to what the inventory report says I lost. Here's a picture to show what I mean:

It appears that the Air Briefing you get each turn always reports LESS aircraft than you actually lost ( except for, perhaps, the first turn ):

well actually it does report the correct loss. But you've got to see you are the first player. So only the losses of your turn are in it. When your opp. playes he may destroy some of your aircraft.
This is simply the difference between thoose two numbers.

The correct loss of a turn is only for player two visible in the end of turn file.

If you want to calculate the real losses of enemy planes it's also very easy:

click a few times at the air report button. Then you will see three values of destroyed enmy airplanes. (even if you got more then on time the same number, click until you got thee different)
Then take that one that is in between. take half of it and you got the total loss of enemy planes at your round (player 1.) or in total (player two).
the other half is in the pool.

This is the way it is in all senarios.

You're right. I hadn't thought of that. But wait.....I always send my turn to my PBEM opponent before he does his turn. So the END_OF_TURN_DONT_SEND file would only reflect my turn's losses would it not? So I'm STILL left with a discrepancy. I think.

yes you will always have the unknown. but it dosen't matter ^^
