The Allies are almost in Berlin. Disappointing that none of my reinforcements could be placed around the capital. Strange.

Not at all. Looks like Allied bombers have hit both it and the city to the immediate W. If they are below 5 no units can be placed in or adjacent to them.

With the inability to reinforce Berlin, the capital falls.

The sensible thing to do would have been to continue a steady withdrawal into the Korean peninsular.... but that ship has long since sailed, and so the Japanese remnants of Army Group Terauchi attack the Soviet right flank...

There is nothing that can be done to stem the Western Allies. The winter months are too far away to help either.

As can be seen, units are arriving from the east, but these arrive in dribs and drabs and are unable to concentrate before they are attacked themselves....

How very dare you sir!! Certainly not.... I have one in Petsamo, surrounded by three destroyer flotillas, too.....

Finland is conquered....

The Japanese continue their fighting withdrawal from Burma, evacuating Mandalay. but hitting a CW corps as a parting gift. The Japanese also continue to hold the Chinese at bay. But its increasingly difficult to do.

The German reinforcements from the east at last have some success, removing a British armoured corps from the Allied order of battle east of Berlin.

But the growing strength of the Soviets means that less and less Germans troops can dis-engage...

The Italians did not have enough units to form a line with the Vichy French gone, and US forces breakthrough on the coast...
