Admitedly it could be either. I do clearly recall seeing your CV's well NE of Townsend and Brisbane and made the logical guess at what you were planning. (and i do have some experience in these types of operations)

Sounds like good old Synchie the synch problem to me...

A quieter couple of days.

I moved away from Brisbane since I didn't think it was fair to take advantage of a potential game glitch.

Nonetheless air action over Lae and in China. My expert Zero's performed well over LAe shooting down 13 attackers for 0 loss!

Overall losses for the 2 days were 22 Allied for 14 Japanese (7 op losses)

Hi all,

Its been a fairly quiet past 4 days will little action across the theatre.

The past 2 days were different. I had a large transport fleet at Lae unloading so Nik sent over Beufort's escorted by Airacobras and Kittyhawaks. My elite fighters lost 1 plan but shot down about 20.

Nik also launched the first large raid against Mandalay. He caught me with my pants down and I only had 8 Zero's on CAP. LTJG Kawato did well though scoring his 12th, 13th and 14th victims. Little damage caused to the airfield.

Losses for 2 days:

Japanese: 14 (11 at Mandalay airfield)
Allied: 30

The reduced transport capacity is really making for a tough situation since its hard to move enough supply forward AND keep the resources and oil coming in.
