Turn 23. Allied #2. IJN Wish to Intercept? West Indian Ocean.
A lone CW CP moves from Victoria into the West Indian Ocean.
Do the Japanese wish to attempt an intercept?
yes and commit the sub. Go after the CP, probably via sub combat with your surface units present. At least abort the CP before worrying about saving the sub with any extra SP.

Intercept attempt roll = 4. Attempt fails. The CP continues on to the Arabian sea, where you'll get another shot at him later this impulse.

Turn 23. May/June 1943. Allied #2. Contested Sea Area. South China Sea.
The USN & RN will attempt sub combat in this sea area. Only Japan has planes that can react.
Instructions for the South China Sea?
React the NAV to the 0-box.
If I have SP, use them first to move allied damage up so that the subs are sunk and damaged (I am willing to take a small risk that there may be some subs left). Once that is taken care of, then use SP to reduce damage to the fleet units. If my NAV is engaged make it an naval air and use all SP to increase damage. Note, it may be useful to make it a sub combat if my CA's find (reduces your damage to me).
