Oh, there are indeed! Most of them are not the type to sit in front of the TV stuffing pastries into their pie hole all day, either. [8D]
Yes! But on the other hand, I know two places, where a woman shall have at least some fat... [;)]
I'd guess most "Ironwomen" are rather skinny, no?
Often unhealthily so... normal feminine bodily functions essential for reproduction will generally shut off when body fat goes below a certain percentage (i don't recall the percentage off hand, but i think it varies from study to study).

Some studies have shown this decreased hormonal production can lead to bone problems as well (despite that stress that exercise puts on the body should increase bone density).

Menstrual cycle can certainly go haywire.

Well, stop entirely in severe cases.

To bring up another subject: i'd like to see us wind up this version of the Thread at 1000 pages and have Matrix (voluntarily) lock this down... we'd (of course) start up Thread V as soon as this happens...

Personally, i've gotten tired of having hundreds of pages of posts vanish overnight... they provide sort of history of Threadians which i like... also, i will admit i am less likely to post in the Thread with the threat of it vanishing without some much as a "poof" looming down the line.

Sounds like a plan. I concur.

It's a brilliant plan , but is Matrix willing to have all that data sitting and holding space on it's servers? To me that's the question. At what point do they purge old threads (not just "the Thread")?[&:]

Maybe we can put $0.25 up to buy them some more server space...

Each? Or between us?

AFAIK - they don't purge old threads... you can still find Thread II, and i've been told Thread I is still around (locked down, but present).

They might HAVE sometimes deleted old pics in the past*, i think, but i don't know often they do that, or if they still do... or, it could have been the pics were "off site" and got deleted by the other website...

*There was someone besides Brady who used to post unknowns, and i know some of the oldest pics were missing.

One of my sisters is bulimic, and this happened to her. Bad times.

I think I'm going to go to the Newberry used book sale tomorrow.

Eventually, it causes the forum software to do strange things or crash if you keep quoting and quoting... iirc, Swift did something like that on the anti-thread some time ago.
as i recall that more had to do with to many gifs on the page

He might have done that too... the incident i remember is he kept on quoting and quoting, trying to see how many times he could do it... eventually something bad happened and a bunch of pages vanished [X(]... i think he got a warning out of it, but maybe not... [;)]

But maybe i am getting who did what and when confused...
