San Fernando valley...late of Hauppauge.
Well you must be, because most people can't spell it let alone pronounce it. Been to LA breifly, not my cup of tea. What prompted the move?

I'm grew up here and my parents lived here. The original idea was for us to help take care of my father when he started fading. He passed away last year and since theres no overriding need for me to be here, I'd like to leave now. [:)]

Sorry to hear about your dad, mine went a long time ago. Hey, SoCal's fine, just not my thing. Leave? Yeah, but come back here, really? Personally I can't wait to get out. Unfortunately at this stage it'll have to wait for retirement. And no I'm not heading south, not that there's anything wrong with that. I've just always been the kid who loves to play in the snow. Yep, bring it baby I love this weather. Must say this year has been a disappointment as I've been unable to get off the Island to the real snow country, the Adirondacks and Tug Hill. Up against the lake there they get tons of Lake Effect snow.

It took a few years and it was really tough in the end, for everyone. I think he's in a better place now.
I think maybe Italy, or south of France. [:D]

Having ourselves a surprise 2-3 inches of snow this morning. Forecasting 3-6 inches Wednesday night, but today is bonus. [8D]
