Got the turn from Jeff yesterday and just sent it back. Hopefully the pace will pick up a bit soon. Jeff said it should get better after Tuesday this week.

I meant to put an update up but I´m too tired. Besides not much happened. No airstrikes flew. My LA attack didn´t go well. Have to rest for a few days. 150 tanks and 2 fresh IDs are coming. Jeff reinforced with another divisions. I managed to fly in a full RGT to SD so I now deem it safe. Another RGT will be flown in tomorrow.

Jeff attacked at Chungking again. It was bloody for both sides but he got a 1:1 and lowered the forts. About half the Chinese army are safe in the mountains though.

Sorry guys. No turn. Maybe tomorrow.

Normally something like this in 1/43 is completely unthinkable. Especially considering my very weak CV force. But...Japan has no troops and no air power down here. They have also completely ignored base expansion except Rabaul and Port Moresby itself. PM will be visited by North and South Carolina together with Indiana tonight. I don´t expect the airfield to be operational come morning. And if it is I hope the 4Es flying from Cairns can deal with it.

CAP is weak. Only about 70 fighters available together with 50 P38s flying LRCAP from Portland Roads. But Jeff will be flying all the way from Rabaul. I feel its relatively safe. The base will be captured very fast and I have lots of fighters ready to fly in and CAP PM once its captured.

I feel this is a relative safe operation.

Shouldn't she be converting to an LSLI in 1/43?

Too valuable to use as a raider IMHO.

Hopefully NOT South Carolina! Her 12" guns should be at the razor blade factory by your game date! [:D]
