Screwed up my screenshots...so here is the damaged light carrier. So many damaged ships at Saigon, progress is slow. I am in the process of moving everything out and back...

Alor Star falls to 4 units and about 400 AV...two more days and Alor would have been garrisoned adequately, but for now they will have another base and will hold around Singora.

IJN now has four battleships on the eastern side of Malaya...so I hope to be able to get a favorable engagement or two.

Allied beasts raid Miri/Brunei and 3 are shot down.

Allies continue their torrid pace of naval bombardments.

Tojos continue shooting down fighters,today was some Kittyhawks.

Allies keep landing troops and supplies at Johore...plus daily multiple bombardments by cruiser sized forces and smaller. This is a nasty map in that respect.

Fireworks for tomorrow....I have lost every naval engagement so far.[X(]

Midgets.

A relatively quiet day, and I thought for sure there would be big fireworks. KB stops short of the sub net...

BB SAG doesn't react...

Nells sortie, but for the 2nd straight day drop bombs from altitude despite having plentiful torpedoes, supply and runway size and set for torpedoes.

Lightnings sweep Patani and drop a few Zeroes.

Johore falls easily to the Allies.

Still a lot there....haven't given up on them yet, but I have evacuated a fair bit.

Finished turn, suspect there will be lots of fireworks tomorrow....

Midget strikes again...

At least one midget sunk by ASW, but others keep hitting.

Plenty of good fighters here but the Beasts are super tough...they destroy 5 on the ground, while I only down 3 Beasts...

And here we go...I made a slight mistake in allocating 30 fighters to a strike package, instead of CAP...it doesn't seem like the Japanese CAP makes too much of a dent in the attack package as lots get thru...

But there are still enough to seek revenge after the strike...but what will they come home too?

But we weather the fury pretty well...the 30 Fighters on strike were needed here...and of course our one small strike doesn't get thru...Once again, three battleships present and not a single one targeted.

Plane losses for the day...

Is it bait? Or an invasion force? Or both?

So games are still open... he has the advantage of land based support, if he manage to get it....

Still working on the turn...don't want to do too many stupid things here.[;)]

Ouch on his SBD losses (330). He gets about 20/month (maybe slightly more, but not that many) for 7 months = 140. The math doesn't add up.

Units that arrived with planes in them, and likely overestimation by the Japanese intelligence department.
