Since I am so ignorant of the history of the Napoleonic wars I have been trying to catch up. It seems that only Great Britain was able to stay at war with the French through almost the entire thing (other than a few years during the quieter times).

Which is why wars with Britain never lapses in this game. A great feature.

Brits are experts at holding a grudge.

For some strange reason, the Sultan does not feel at ease with the thought of less unrest in Poland.

Commendations are in order (or at least a letter of appreciation) for the players to have continued the game during the great Matrix Blackout of 01/07/09. A less hearty crew would have faltered w/o guidence from The Forum.

Yes, my last received (and returned)turn was 11. We are now waiting on 12-it is likely IW has not received all turn 11 yet-thus the question.

Thanks for letting us know. That reduces the aggravation quite a bit just by knowing what's going on. It gets old checking the mail and checking here to see what's happening.

I hope it cools down in your neck of the woods. Here in southern Nevada I think we just had the coolest June on record-10 to 15 degrees F less through most of the month-plus clouds which is rare. It has warmed up recently-almost 100F-will be over that for the next few days. Pool water has reached 85F[:D] It still cools you off though.

Received GB, Turkey, Sweden, and Prussia so far. 3 to go.

I will play ASAP ...

Forgot to mention, I'll be away tommorrow and be back sometime on Sunday.
