Sorry guys...do you know the command of how to slow down, while in game-reply showing mode, the messages pop-up? For unknown reasons they seem to be back to 0.1 sec

Thanks in advance

Ctrl-S to slow down, Ctrl-F to speed up.

GJ,

In China, bomb all the Light Industry that you can find. Bomb any HI that you are not concerned about capturing intact. Same for Resources. Then bomb the bases to cause Supply Hits.

From GJ's HR list:

"- No strat bombing before 1943"

So he'll need to find another way.

If there is a bright side, you've probably caused Canoerebel to tear out a good portion of his hair, by triple posting for a suggestion that HRs forbid... [:D]

Ooooo - CanoeRebel isn't going to like that!
Any bets it's the Olympic madness that is choking the internet over there? Heard a report that they expect cell phone instability too.

Its only Olympic madness around the SE of our fair island!

Up in the north, amongest the floods and almost constant rain, we appear remarkably uneffected.

The sweeps over Singapore were a complete disaster. Lost 23 crack pilots.... 24 planes against only 12 of his own....he's breaking my a*s!
In China he counterattacks everywhere...he's clearly statlemating me... Guys...it's really hard...

Its subs again scored several kills and i'm unable to shoot them out... they even fired a couple of salvos against KB TF near Truk....luckly missed but...

An allied CV is spotted south of Tokyo....needless to say i don't have anything ti counter except for the training squadrons...

Ok...let's calm down...Zen Breathing....

The best way to use the Allied limited fighters early in the war is to use them in mass. That is what he is doing here. If the Allies are at less than 1:1 odds, they usually lose. You will need to do the same. Bring in the large Zero units and set them all at 20k sweep. Use you Oscar and Nates to protect you bombers hitting his troops just in front of you advance.

Yes...always the hammer.... however i had devoted nearly 60 zeros for this mission...i thought they were enough...obviously not

Thanks Micheal....once again your suggestions are always wise!

GJ, can you put some more details of the sweeps?

What were your settings for your units?

What altitude were his units flying CAP at?

We need to piece together what else he's doing besides putting up more aircraft.

Also, are you upgrading any of the Nate units in the area over to Oscars?

mine were at 20k. He had 2 groups at 20k and 1 at 10k....

Oscars? Sure, as fast as i can, but production is still far from the 100 oscars/months we planned

Hmmm.

Perhaps you could try and hit Singapore's airfields at night to try and soften them up some, maybe you'll even get lucky and knock a few of his fighters out of the fight.

An alternative is to sweep north of Singapore in an attempt to kill any leaky CAP.

He's putting up a good fight in the area, but I don't see how he can sustain it if you continue to apply pressure.

Well if you try the Mersing gambit, that would be a taskforce with 2500 plus flak, all your CVE's loaded with just fighters on 100% CAP and long range cap from land. Maybe he will fall into the CAP trap... and you would get to recover some of the downed piloets.
