Air battle over Rangoon, with another victory for the Japanese air force. Our air superiority continues

Germany..... reinforced air units on the western front with new fighters. shored up defenses on the eastern front and conducted airstrikes against soviet ground forces. Soviet losses were very large and the softening up continues. Maintained air superiority on the eastern front, only one air battle occurred which saw victory yet again. We applaud our Japanese allies for their grand victory against the British off the coast of Indochina.

Italy.....reinforced front line forces. Offensive has officially ended, and now our forces are digging in.

2days no report, who lost the turn?

Well, right now the turn is in Axis hands. My turn was relatively quiet. A fighter sweep over Kiel produces >10 to 1 kill ratios. Other than that, the British are not in strong offensive mode this turn.

The Eastern Front is a stalemate. The Soviets keep loosing 100 plus infantry per turn because of air attacks.

......NEWS FLASH.....

Asia theater..... Japanese forces continue their buildup on the Thai front. New level 3 arty is now being produced, along with other weapons which will insure our victory. Another air battle over Rangoon saw our glorious forces maintain air superiority again. Limited attack in the north on the Thai front saw British/Chinese forces retreat. Airstrikes in northern China continues, with no ground action.

Our carrier group has now refitted with more fighters and torpedo bombers and headed into action. Our second naval group has withdrawn for refueling, and will rejoin the main group later. Reinforced our marine units with AA guns.

Germany.....reinforced the Luftwaffe on the western front, continued airstrikes in the east. Softening up the Soviets for our expected counter offensive. Reinforced the eastern front with more troops.

Italy......on the defensive. still conducted arty/bombing strikes on Istanbul. Spanish front quiet, but continuing to reinforce.

Two after battle reoprts from the British turn number 49. The first is a full air assault on the Italians based near Barcelona.

The second is from a fighter sweep over Hamburg.

What are the twin engine aircraft?

Germany Northern Front.....

Operation Weiss has begun....several Panzer Groups have now broken through and heading north toward Leningrad. Airstrikes and bombing campaign continue in north and south Eastern front. Air reinforcements sent westward as the Allied air assault on the Reich continues. German forces on Southern Eastern front remain in defensive positions.

Japanese Navy committed off coast of Singapore along with Fighter Group based in Saigon launch airstrikes on British forces, several British fighters shot down along with 1 cargo ship sunk. Reinforced forces in Saipan, other outlying islands. Conducted small attack on boundary line between Chinese and Thai front, met with success seeing enemy forces in full scale retreat. bringing more fighter groups and infantry formations into Thai theater.

Italian front..... Athens is now surrounded, on the defense in Spain. Conducted arty, airstrikes on Istanbul again. building up forces opposite Istanbul......

The Soviets have started a counter offensive in the Baltics.

German offensive continues, no progress made this round as Soviet resistance stiffened. Panzer forces took heavy losses, but the Soviets didn't come out smelling like roses either. Airstrikes, bombing campaign continues on the northern and southern fronts. reinforced air groups on the western front. reinforced aa positions as well.

ITALY- defensive stance in Spain continues, with more reinforcements coming to both Spanish and soviet fronts. Continued arty/airstrikes on Istanbul, with no offensive operations yet.

Japan- naval group engaged British forces in Singapore, with the British losing another cargo ship. Appears the Americans are up to their old tricks again with their subs. Now either to disengage from the British and pursue the U.S. subs or continue with the bombardment of Singapore. Air battle over Rangoon, still maintain air superiority but I lost 22 fighters this round. Ground action did not happen this turn, still sending reinforcements to the Thai front

TASS announces:
Heavy battles in the North-West. The heroic defenders of the Tallinn naval base have repulsed a enemy attack resulting heavy losses to the invaders. The enemy armored spearhead in North-Eastern Estonia has been stopped by the Soviet tankers. At the same time our shock group delivered the enemy a devastating blow in the direction of Riga. Finally the tide is turning, this rounds 22 will become 44 in the next and 88 in the next.

Fronts are more or less quiet, a fighter sweep near Le Havre takes down 30+ german fighters.

4 days someone lose the game?

Bombur was travelling and i think it's his turn now. We should get it going again today assuming he's returned.

It's kind of tough waiting for the next round, it's been a great game with good tension building up.

Soviet update:
-In the North-West the enemy has given up his offensive and retreated to intial positions. It is a glorious defensive victory for the Red Army!
-German air attacks against our positions resulted heavy losses to their bombers. The enemy was surprised to see how strong the Soviet AA defences have become.
-The Soviet airforce has reappeared. A large air battle near Novgorod resulted about 40 Soviet and 20 German planes shot down. The invaders lost many of their so called experts.
