To all - you may (will) find a few graphical errors in some newer posts, and for that I apologize. I think with all the information and screenshots I have reached the technical end of my computer's capacity. Very sorry for that, but I will get better, and have some new ideas for my next HTH AAR that is upcoming after I win this one and take over as

VON DAVID!

Von Mark is BEGGING for revenge, so we have agreed to end the War this weekend. He, however, has NOT agreed to post his notes to the board (or me) after we finish because he "may" have a serious "mark to meet" and does not want comments from any of you to help me, as the Axis, to survive past the deadline I am trying to set. If you have been following this thread, you know what it at stake!

Anyway, I am using only the base Microsoft Paint for screenshots. Does anyone use anything else that is easier and more forgiving to use and not too expensive? (The wife is complaining :) )

Thanks!

I swear by a freeware program called paint.net

Nice thing about it is that it has layers, so you can put your text and markup on different layers and thereby easily edit or move them without hassle.

Then you can save in whatever image format you want for a final product.

Well you have a free program of Professional quality with GIMP ( https://www.gimp.org ) . It is extremely rich and complete and is a free equivalent of the (expensive) Photoshop .
It's what I use for art and cartography (I am a semi professional cartographer) .

You can tell your friend that he doesn't need to fear that somebody would give you specific advices if he posted here . Nobody would spoil you the fun and the challenge .
Now for general strategical advices, you ALREADY have many of them in the War Room that anybody can read anyway .
For instance I posted there about how to beat France as German in 5 turns :)

Now I am also interested for your next game and especially curious whether your friend has seen your big mistake as allied and will avoid it .
