Who could portrait Amanda Jespersen and Knut Pedersen if you sell the rights to a film studio?

Hmmmm
Good question - I am no casting director but perhaps a younger Jennifer Garner or Jessica Chastain, but maybe Anya Taylor-Joy for Amanda. As for Knut that's a tough one - Liam Cunningham pops to mind, but there are any number I think.
I'll need to ponder that one

Anya Taylor-Joy, good election, I like her
What about Stellan SkarsgÄrd as Knut?

He would work, perhaps he's a little too thoughtful but he would certainly be an option. I was thinking of Cunningham in his role for Game of Thrones and another options might be Stephen Dillane or even Charles Dance or Iain Glen but I am focusing on that series because it popped to mind

My first thought was Karen Gillan and John Rhys-Davies.

As a Mississippian I enjoyed the aside about the Mississippian Admiral not particularly liking the Cold. On the film side of things, I think Tommy Lee Jones, Dennis Quaid, and if you could get a time machine George C. Scott would best play Faulkner

I checked Amazon this morning and saw that the Paperback edition of The Nordkapp Affair is now available. I've ordered my copy!

Good stuff... I gotta say that working with Amazon has some mystery embedded in it! Glad it is up.

I have read elsewhere that having more reviews on Amazon increases the exposure in their advertising algorithm. More reviews = more sales = presumably more stories for us.

Very true. Amazon reviews = black magic in their algorithm and the book pops up on more screens... so presumably more sales. The critical path for more stories tends to be time rather than sales but we will try...

Bart,
Is it available in print as of yet? If so, where?

I bought the e-book a couple days ago and started reading. Only got through the prologue so far and a few pages of the first chapter "The Day." Looks to be a good cigar and Bourbon read.

You should be able to get a paperback on any Ingramspark supplied outlets - that is Barnes & Noble in the US, Chapters/Indigo in Canada and many others - essentially 90% of outlets that aren't Amazon. We seem to be having some issue with the cover fitting the Amazon parameters, so in theory it probably isn't available on Amazon yet.
HLE in an earlier post said he found it on Amazon however, but we don't have confirmation yet. Might be a pre-order bit as well? Dealing with them is sometimes a magical mystery tour, but they are essentially the gorilla of the book industry these days.
