Three hexes were taken by combat in third French invasion site. Each one is circled in red and has combat results.

Final picture shows what happened over whole turn. One hex was won by Germany but not occupied. Fine by Allies, as I moved units in to occupy vacant hex. It is in green. I believe this time Germany will have a difficult time taking it back and it will cost much in troops and equipment. Three hexes were taken in combat and are circled in red. Final hex is in blue. That means another invasion. Metalist likes it when the Allies invade! Ha.

October 21,1944.

Germany did five attacks on two hexes this turn. Four in one hex and one in another. Metalist sent me a copy of them to make sure Allies had them and I thank him for that. However, sending news reals of Axis tanks rolling over Allied ground entrenchments was a bit much. Ha. But seriously, thank you. Metalist informed me that in a previous turn I had switched one of the Axis hexes that was attacked so I will try to get it right this time. I am also real happy the BLM is working well on the Axis phase. I hope it will continue on Allied ground phase.

First hex to show is the one attacked four times. It was finally taken, which makes the American infantry division isolated since it lost the invasion port. The location is southern French invasion area.

Only attack here is along border between north and south Italy.
I wanted to show all the hexes that are being abandoned by Germany. They are in green.
Germany withdrew on Brest Peninsula to form new contact line.
Allies lost around 8,000 soldiers while Germany lost fifteen hundred in Axis turn phase.

Victory points: For turn they were -24 and game total is -110.

Rain is over the whole map.
Light mud is over whole map.
Water level for Europe is 4-5 and Italy is 2-3.

Troop transport ships pool is at 146.

Air losses for Axis phase are low. 71 for Germany and 17 for Allies. On Allied phase Germany lost 606 while Allies lost 553. Total after air phases, 677 for Germany while Allies lost 570. In this rare case Allies lost fewer aircraft, by 107. Below is chart on German and Allied air phase.
