Clovis, could you say if the problem I encountered is irreparable? If it is, I could restart the GC.

Hi, sorry for the delay, but internet connection on the run isn't always easy to configure.

Looked at the ScriptReport file and unfortunatly I have not found where the error is. What I've constated is Yudenich events were too much complex to be bullet-proof. So I've simplified them in order to get a better version. I will upload this new version soon.

Welcome back Clovis [:)]

In one of the last numbers of Strategy & Tactics magazine, #267, there is a game of the Russian Civil War, a 2nd version by Miranda of a game published in the 70s.

The game itself is not available (unless you pay for it I mean [:'(]), but at least, a sample issue with an analysis of RCW can be downloaded in pdf, #267

http://www.militaryhistorymarketing.com/sample-issues/

Will post this info also in AGEod forum

Thanks. I didn't spotted this free stuff. Never played the game itself, neither in its first iteration nor the latter by Miranda. From what I've read about, the core of the system is less about precise military depiction of the conflict and it revolves more around a plotical/Diplomacy interaction between players. Intereting ideas.

I've posted a new version on my blog (see my sig) changing the Yudenich chain of events. The YUdenich entry remains the same but in streamlined fashion.

Just for pleasure: how the Red AI has surprised me when I was sieging Ekaterinodar by aiming Azov...I was expecting a Red advance along the railroad [:D]

Ouch, haven't seen that before!

I had to restart one GC after the Red AI came along the railroad with such a force, that it simply crushed most of the Southern Whites.

Currently thinking about the next turn...I shouldn't have improved the AI that much [:D]How may I do an AAR if the AI wins over me? [;)]

Next turn: situation remains tense... I couldn't send back Denikin 'sArmy because of rainy weather and broken railroad, but my provisional group hasn't reduced the Reds, just saved Azov. Denikin assault on Ekaterinodar, necessary considering the importance of the region for Whites, has been a bloody success...Yet a few more battles like this and Southern Whites are gone [:D]

Clovis, in my latest game Allied Intervention Level has been over 10 for a few turns, but there's been no change to the stance of the French or the Greek. If this is WAD I think your PDF-notes are a bit misleading ("stamping out the virus")...

Hi, looked at the save game, but in the turn I’ve got, Trotsky has been defeated and is recovering in Saransk. I would need the Backup1 and 2 folders in your savegame directory.

BTW, indeed the game seems to be really interesting. I’m impressed how much close you are of the real situation at this time.
