Mar/April 43 Aiiies initiative Weather rain fine in Med.

US naval, CW combined, Russia land

US SUb sinks Japanese convoy in Bismarck sea, lost a SUB in S China Sea.

Ground striks disorganizes Malta Forces and a CW invasion takes the Island.

Other CW units enter the Toe of Italy.

Germany land, Italy combined, Japan Naval

Italy sends an air fleet to It Coast but fails to find the CW fleet.

Japan sinks 2 CW convoys in Arabian Sea and a US convoy in Hawaiian Islands.

Germany Ground strikes Gorki successfully and Penza with no effect.

German land forces in Russia now face a problem, Not enough units to take on both the Siberians to the east and the Caucasus to the south. Both areas have substantial Russian defenses.

US naval, CW an Russia land

US sinks Japanese Cruiser and a Convoy in Marianas but lost 2 fighters doing it.

US ships takes control of the Solomons sea after aborting Japanese forces there.

Axis forces in Italian Coast fails to intercept the Allies there.

CW invades and takes Salerno with shore bombardment and air support. Italian air defenders aborted.
CW units also walk further into the Italian boot toe.

Germany land, Italy and Japan combined.

Italy fails to find the Allied fleet in Italian Coast.

Germany ground strikes Vologda and Penza with half the defenders disorganized.

Italy rails troops to reinforce Naples

German troops moving into north Italy for defenses. German units in Russia moves south towards the Caucasus.

Germany attacks Vologda and tales it, An Attack on Penza cost the Germans 3 units versus the Russians one and the city holds.
Many German units now disorganized.

US naval, CW an Russia land

US cvp's strikes Kwajalein and disorganizes 3 units there, they are Out of supply.

CW lands more troops in Salerno and attacks east killing an Italian Inf and downing an Italian Fighter. Taranto is near.

Turn ends too quickly, a 1 is rolled.

Looks like the Allies are hoping for a long summer to put the boot to Italy, maybe invade some other peripheral area, and suck German units out of USSR.

Don't know how USSR feels about a long summer.

Reinforcements for May/Jun 43

May/Jun 43 Allies initiative Weather is storm and rain. fine in Med.

US naval, CW and Russia land.

US sinks Japanese convoy in Coral Sea.

CW and US ground strike in Italy, one Italian Fighter and one CW Bomber lost over Taranto.

Partial disorganizing results.

Taranto falls as does the Italian Inf in the toe after it was rendered OOS.

US fleet of transports and escorts are also now in the West Med poised for invasion of Either northern Italy or The Vichy south Coast.

Germany land, Italy and Japan combined.

Japan sends out convoys to China Sea

Italy and Germany sedn air and ships to W Med and It Coast.

IN W Med the fight cost the CW a Fighter and a convoy, A German NAV was aborted. rouind2 did not find.

In It Coast CW lost a Fighter and a CVP,Italy had 2 NAV aborted and for round 2 no find.

Germany moves more troops to the Penza area but no attacks in storm. Several German units are moving south to Italy.

May/Jun 43 Allies impulse 2 ( impulse 5 ) Fine everywhere

All land.

US DoW Vichy.

CW and US units enter Vichy and US invades as well, CW takes Toulouse at a cost of a Div and The US lands next to Marseilles.

US also invades and takes Guadalcanal, and Kwajalein after a massive ground strike attack and shore support to the invasion. A Marine was lost in the attack.

CW units take Naples with a loss of a Mot and some units disorganized.
