p's there seems to be a hard cap of the number of ships in one hex I cannot get all my TF's in the same hex I guess 60x60 is only so big with these kind of TF numbers....

TF 1098 has 2 CVE's embedded in it as it came from the West Coast

TF 1011 has 11 CVE's (6 Replenishment)

In total I have over 1,500 carrier aircraft involved in this invasion !!!

This is going to be interesting [:D] let him have it.

In my Mersing and Diamond harbour invasions I had far over 100k troops in 1st wave [8D]
and in 2nd case I had few days of fear before I took base however I did not employ air support
I wouldn't bet it will be enough but I will not say your forces are overkill - it will be bloody fight

Aye but I cannot seem to load that many without using my large AP's that do not unload in one phase.

The allies just cannot match the IJN unload speed and carrying quantity.

And for atolls I refuse to use anything but LST's or LCT's as the initial shock attack wrecks forces.

70,000 men and 200 tanks are loaded on LCT/LST's thats a hell of an offensive kick !!!!

I'm kind of curious about the 37th Div. The Guard unit I'm in is what that division has evolved into (37th BCT). Is the commander a fella named Beightler? What are his stats? Just curious.

Hey could you tell us whats is situation of your guerillas in India?

Thats the last unit in India not much I can do there I landed some sub commandoes to get recon but apart from that the whole theatre is dead.

At present I have

Centpac 9 Divs (4 on Goblin/ 1 1/3 on Maloep rest prepping for Entiwok or follow on waves for Kwal)
SOPAC 5 Divs (1 on Kavieng/ 1 recupping in Aus 3 prepping at rabaul) next target Satewal and Woleai
SWPAC 6 Divs (4 Prepping for ops against Dagua/ Aitape/ Sarmi/ Biak)
ABDA 6 1/3 Divs (N AUS) (1 Div useable rest Aus or NZ command about 5 1/2 Divs in this group when PP's available I will convert)
Other (WEST/CANADA and NORPAC) 4 Divs of which 2 1/3 are NORPAC and therefore moveable

Reinforcements to come in next 30 days 2 and 1/3 US Army Divs and a USMC Div all will be assigned to SOPAC and 4 Armoured Regts

In a small change of plan I have decided to do the following

1. Tonight 5 BB's in 3 TF's are due to bombard (D-2)
2. Tomorrow the 5 BB's will go in again with a heavy MSW force to neutralise the minefield. (D - 1)
3. Last of my BB's ammos will be used to bombard for the 3rd day in a row in support of my landing forces D Day 4 Divs and a para Regt will assault Kwaljaan.
4. I will detach a CA force from carrier screening to keep up the bombardments while my BB's re arm from the AE at Majuro


Throughout my Carriers (especially the escort carriers will carry out ground attacks)

I was going to say something on the way, you needed more bombardement to skyrocket his fatigue and disruption.

Also dont forget to put some of your bombers on Port Attack, to decimate his CD guns and help your landing waves.

My Land Based air from Majuro has destroyed the port and arifield they are at 100/100 but keep repairing a little so he has supplies there.

(D Day was brought forward a day as my BB's used more ammo on day one than anticipated a MSW TF went in as well as did the California BG which had been acting as close escort for the Invasion Fleet.)

I have split my CV force into 2 forces one West and 1 NW of Kwal they are mutually supporting as only one hex apart.

My replenishment TF's are going in with the invasion force to give CAS for the invasion.

My main BB force will withdraw at end of today to Majuro to replenish ammo
