Spring of 44 whatever the start of the mud is, Turn 292 I feel confident that had I not tried to push so hard to "win" the "war" in 42 I easily could have stalled out a defensive counterpunch victory.. again I get to my repetitive slogan that taking victory cities should relate to shock as well or in stead of replacments. In 43 the reds get a counter shock after the german citadel that is brutal, and I do not mind the red winter shock, but the summer shock leaves me scratching my head.. it is "hystorically " accurate, but would it be if the Germans where in Moscow etc?
I held the lines.. see posts above from the North to Kiev... then the lines ruptured as I tried to stem the attacks in the South.. I am noww pulling back to Polland and the x8 fort line.

I have not heard from my oponent after I "was out" with a host of issues.. seems we are in the final mud.. turn 292 as I recall and I am falling back towards the reinforced lines in Poland due to the absolute lack on Infantry.. armor levels are great so I expected my opponenet to advance and stop, build up rails and supplies and laund a massive destroying fall 44 attack into poland.. the Southern Wing wioll be tough to hold in the Bulgarian Rumanian areas du to the lack of troops... Soviet victory is aforgone conclusion... so as soon as we get back to playing, or decide we are not I will post final shots here ..
