According to this Tracker report on Oil and Resources if I'm looking for a non-home-islands source of oil I need look no further than Port
Arthur. That and Hokkaido. No other source is putting out like they are so far. I'm looking forward to Miri and Brunei starting to output
some oil and Palembang is a good source of oil I'm told. But the war is early yet.

This Tracker report says that I have about 156 more days of fuel production left. I'm really going to have to get on the stick here and get
that oil flowing into the home islands if I'm going to keep the fuel flowing.

Took some hits getting close to the beach at Ambon.

Took some hits getting into Palembang too. Losses are relatively light so far. Fighting should begin soon.

One of my Patrol Boats lost the gunnery contest near Lautem. I'll soon get even.

There was an attack from a pesky Allied sub right where some of my more important TF's have to pass. D'oh. I'll have to start escorting those bad boys through that narrow part of the sea. I have plans to build up the air bases around that part of the world and keep pushing south to Java. Now that Palembang is under attack I need to grab some more air bases in and around Java to get and keep some air cover on my dudes.

I guess this attack is representative of the level of Allied air power I can expect to have in and around the Palembang area.

Eleven Dutch bombers are trying to take out some of the ships of a TF that's headed for Palembang. So I have to make a decision here whether or not to keep going or maybe diverting to take Bandy instead. What to do? I'm going to keep going for now and hope for the best.

It's just a matter of time at Kendari. I'm in a hurry though and I think maybe I'll ship some more troops in there.

This is what happened at Manila. I can see that these guys need some engineers to reduce the Forts of the Allies.

Here's what happened at Clark Field. I'm going to drop back from DA to bombardment and move the engineers to Manila and let these folks rest some before the next attempted DA ( in about three or four days from now ).

We've captured Manado and I've already moved some Zero's there.

This is what happened at Ambon. I'm in a hurry so I'm thinking of moving some more ground troops into there.
