Sadly all good things must come to an end.
The game will actually continue; he replied to my email:
"I'm doing much better. I am sorry for the long, long delay in even getting back to you. I've been recovering, and actually ended up spending three weeks out of state just recovering and taking some time off. I hope to be all caught up with turns for games by Friday, and then I should be back to normal as far as turns go. At least that's the plan. "
So likely by the weekend we will be back
