My carriers launched an attack on a small Allied TF near Talaud-eilanden and
sank some ships. They were either dropping off or were going to pick up
something or somebody. I'll need some recon on Talaud-eilanden before I
try landing there because Brian may have turned it into a fortress or
something. There could be a division there for all I know. I didn't see
any mention of men in the water or as losses so maybe, likely, they just
dropped off something or other. That's my theory.

I had my boys at Hong Kong do a little bombardment to get an accurate count of the opposition as well as getting
in some licks. I'm seeing a problem here. I'm having more losses than he is. Obviously I need to hit him from
the air a lot more.

The Allied sub SS Shark is having a good day near Nagasaki where it attacked two ships and
severely damaged one of them.

I have a small SCTF on the rivers of China and it ran across an Allied YO and sank it. It looked like
a Chinese Junk.

I have a midget sub at Pearl ( still ) and it's been the target of a lot of
ASW lately. Five separate engagements, giving two separate attacks where one
attack gave it one hit and the 5th and last engagement gave him severe damage.
I predict that the sub driver will abandon ship and swim to shore.

EDIT: The only way he got away is that DD Hull ran out of ASW ammo.

Allied sub SS Seawolf was having a really bad day yesterday since he
ran through 12 TT's in three separate engagements with only one hit,
on the xAKL Honan Maru which sank. I've got spotter planes in that
area and there's an ASW patrol operating in that area and he's still
getting hits. I'm impressed. But he's probably low on TT's now and
if he attacks at all it'll probably be in the surface. He can still
sting.

Another one of my transports ran out of luck and just happened to be carrying munitions and had a sub
attack it on the surface. Tremendous explosions it says. That's going to leave a mark.

I just got some new moves from Brian and I'm watching the combat replay and there's been a significant sea battle
that I need to report. Jap SCTF runs into some Allied transports and sinks all of them.

Some of my transports are getting attacked by Allied subs near the home islands. I'll have to post more spotter
planes. Meanwhile there was this huge furball lover Singapore just now. 9 destroyed Buffalos to 2 lost Zeros.

And now there's a second furball over Singapore and this time it's 13 to 1. The Japs are having a good day.

And now here comes an attack, unescorted, on the port at Singapore in daylight with an Allied CAP of 5 Buffalos.
It didn't come out all that bad actually. The Japs got some good hits in but alas, no ships sank.

And now there's a strike on the port at Swatow that sank two Allied transports.

And now there's another unescorted strike on the airfield at Singapore in the face of 5 Buffalos.

And now the Japs are striking the airfield at Changsha for some reason. They are flying way too low, I'll have to
fix that asap.

And now the Japs are hitting the airfield at Kuantan. I think 66 runway hits has probably shut down the
airfield. Time to switch to a different airfield and bomb it.

And next there's this ground combat thing in China.....I didn't bring enough troops and guns to this party.

And here was the first of many bombardments by my troops at Hong Kong.

And the next significant thing is this ground combat in Malaya where I won the town and the Allies retreated.

And the next thing is this ground combat bombardment at Manado. I'm going to do that a lot it seems.

I received some new moves from Brian about 5 minutes ago and I've watched the combat replay and now I'm going
through the Tracker data and this is the economic chart for 18Dec41: I'm out of Armament points in the pool
and Vehicles is really low but everything else seems to be humming alone okie dokie.
