Turn 43. Axis. April 11, 1941. North Africa. End of Turn.

1. Still not looking very good ...
2. Garrisons, infantry weapons, upgraded.
3. May attempt to sneak (i.e., transport) the Italian HQ back to the mainland where he can help with Greece.
4. Other Italian units are to remain to the very end.

Turn 43. Axis. April 11, 1941. East Africa. Start of Turn.

1. Looks like the CW is making a push for Mogadishu.
2. Also, looks like the CW corps in British Somaliland is doing a bit of recon into Ethiopia.
3. I wouldn't be surprise to see the CW bring more troops in in order to also make a push into Ethiopia.
4. Honestly, I'd rather have the CW fighting in North and East Africa rather than on the continent of Europe.

Turn 43. Axis. April 11, 1941. Battle of the Atlantic (1/3).

1. U-35 is close!
2. U-73 is also in a bit of trouble and trying to dodge an RN task force sent to harass him.

Turn 43. Axis. April 11, 1941. China. End of Turn.

1. I know Japan's need to start thinking about war with the Western Allies, but ...
2. All of the Japanese budget this turn went to reinforcement and upgrades of units in China.
3. More significantly, Japan launches a major offensive in the center with (light) tanks breaking through and attacking a Chinese HQ.
4. The objective is the capture of Chengchow and the destruction of Chinese units.

Turn 45. Axis. May 9, 1941. North Africa. End of Turn.

1. I had planned to (attempt to) transport Guzzoni out.
2. However, I couldn't and I surmise the reason was because Tobruk is below supply level 5?
3. So, Guzzoni rushed to Benghazi, which is at supply level 5.
4. However, he was 1 hex short so he won't be able to get out next turn.
5. The turn after? Doesn't look good.

Turn 45. Axis. May 9, 1941. East Africa. End of Turn.

1. Mogadishu garrison did well against the two CW corps, which lost 4 steps to the garrison's 1.
2. Garrison reinforced by 1-step back to full strength.

Turn 45. Axis. May 9, 1941. Research.

1. For both Germany and Japan higher priorities than research at the moment for their MPPs.
2. Japan's budget this turn went to reinforcements, upgrades and transport.
3. Germany's budget went to two new garrisons, a tank corps and operational movement of a few units.
4. This operational movement include moving 5 garrisons from the West to the East.
5. So Germany's builds will serve as a strategic reserve in case the allies try a landing in France, which right now is pretty weak.
6. Germany needs more infantry corps and armies for this reserve and for the Eastern Front and will start building them next turn. And garrisons too.

Turn 45. Axis. May 9, 1941. Japanese Home Islands.

1. Literally, the marines have arrive.
2. So what, it's 7-months from the historical surprise attack on the US and invasion of the Dutch East Indies. Not to mention the Philippines, Malaya, Guam, etc.
3. I think I need to pull out the rules and read up on amphibious transports/invasions.
