Any jpg file within size limits may be uploaded with your posting.
Look at the bottom of the text area and you will see "click here to upload" and Embed picture in post.

There is no "embed in post" or "upload picture" anywhere to attach a photo.....any other suggestions? 

Well, there is in mine. Below the box that you write the text in there is a blue color link "Click here to upload!" next to it is a check box "Embed picture in post".

If you click on the link you get a pop-up that allows you to browse to pick a file to upload. I think the max size is 200kB, but it will tell you. After dealing with the pop-up you check the box to embed the picture in the post unless you just want it attached.

Does that help?

Yes, named after  my home state. I hadn't posted a picture yet , wanted to make sure I could.

Well guys, those don't appear when I am trying to post. I have tried on three separate computers so I guess I will not be able to post pics. All I have on the bottom are two boxes "add signature" and "Notify me via email when someone replies". Thanks anyway, Pete

I think I know what's going on. Tell me if this is right: You are using the "Fast Reply" area at the bottom of the thread or clicking on "fast reply".

Instead, click on "post reply", or within a post click on either "reply" or "quote" and you should see the whole magilla.

Yes it is. I am facing the slope where the Georgians were firing down on the 9th XXX trying to force the bridge.

Seems to me wading across would have been a better bet!
