I have no idea what to tell you other than this is my first multiplayer game and I'm not great with the get turns into dropbox. Nevertheless it seems that in the past i was always able to get the turn into dropbox. Let me look and see if i can find the turn in my savedgames, the problem I think we will run into is that instead of copy and pasting into dropbox I drag and drop the save into it. So I might have to redo the turn worst case.
I named it just like sailinGuy did and for the first time the turn turned into a rar file. I didn't notice until after it was done so maybe that caused the problem. Anyway let me check and report back. Sorry about this.

Nothing there at all fellows....so its redo the turn for me as the only option I see............as i did not attack anyone should be no problem. I'm going to go ahead and do so now then.
Should be good to go now.I hope.

I load the turn from and save the turn directly into the dropbox.
That will save you the copy paste or drag and drop

Dear friends,
It is with a heavy heart that I pass on to you the e-mail that I received from Nego earlier today. It reads as follows...
Doug,
I have a problem. I'm away on holiday from tomorrow and don’t return until June 3rd. No access to game. Sorry.
~ Mike
Maybe we should start a support group for "Rise of Nations" participants. It's been a very traumatic experience for us all...
Happy Hunting....eventually..... ~ Doug

I found the turn and played it and uploaded it, no worries. I guess this will be good practice in patience. Perhaps we are the support group.

Cas:
I still see this as the most recent file in the dropbox. Did you upload it with the same file name?

Well I certainly changed the name, but I must have somehow not saved it properly. It won't open with my password, though, so you can probably just play it. Sorry for the mix-up. I'd put it down to my addled brain but I distinctly remember changing the name.

I swear that the same thing has happened to me.....................I change the name and remember doing so only for the blasted save to revert back in dropbox.

The current turn that says toWeb-006c is not my turn. When I load it, it says Confederates and does not accept my password.

Okay, finally I've sorted it out, and that turn should work for you now. Sorry for all the stuffing around, although I still claim that my addled brain is not entirely responsible. Not entirely [8|]

@all5n: Please take a look at Hadley's post above.
Looks like we'll have to take a few weeks break. [:(]

I'm about ready to call this game quits. If the player taking a nearly month long holiday knew it in advance, then he should not have joined this particular game or should have had someone lined up to play his turn while he was gone.

Hey, Nego!
We were expecting you back on June 3rd. You out there?

Let your ally play your turn if you have to go on vacation. Just give them your password, problem solved.

I'm done with this game. If the turn ever gets back to me, I'm withdrawing from play (surrendering). I just can't play a game with this much delay by one player.

I'm beginning to think that anything over five players is destined to fail.
