My Captain Aguero led recovery continues!!!!
But my previous reliance on defenders racking up points isnt working this year.
Might have to use my wildcard and rejig them or do it week by week??

Well, Silva and Dzeko did fine, but this turn shows my weakness. I chose players by heart not brain.
I knew Liverpool were likely to lose, but my heart prevents me from accepting it [:)]

Use it too soon and you might be stuck later in the season when injuries and European competitions start taking their toll, but leave it too late and you'll be too far behind the leaders to catch up.
I've used mine and it's working out so far. As long as the Gunners carry on in this form then at least one of Ramsey/Ozil and Giroud seems to score or claim some assists.

Until a couple of years ago Everton was a lucky game for us - pretty much guaranteed 3-points. In the last few years sadly Everton have turned that around.
Add that to the fact we are playing rubbish and I suspect I know where this one is headed [:(]
I really hate to say this, but watching Arsenal last night makes me realise how pedestrian, and frankly limited, our play is. Arsenal (cough, splutter) are a joy to watch football wise.... [:@]

As much of an Arsenal fan as I am, I must say that this year Arsenal has improved only a little bit. It's the other teams which have gotten that much worse in comparison.

Still in a champions league place.
But not a good week, especially with six points being lost due to yellow cards.

As a fellow Arsenal fan, I can only agree with your assessment to the point that ManU has been merely above average this season, and it's hard to argue that Sp*rs need Bale as an attacking option. The former is finding their form, though. Otherwise Chelsea look dangerous, and Man City will likely run up toward the top of the table in due course.
But - Arsenal appear to have improved greatly. Mostly due to maturity, but they seem to have finally figured out how to keep control of a game, no matter where the opponent sits on the table. Ozil is fantastic, and only time will tell if Ramsey can maintain his form. We do have a lot of players coming back from injury too - Podolski and Walcott to name 2.
And winning against BVB last night was proof that they can also win with determination, even if they aren't necessarily the best performers on the pitch (that day). This weekend will be interesting, and if they lose to ManU they still have the chance to beat City and Chelsea. I think they're all tight matches, regardless of which pitch they play on.

I forgot to make any changes for this week. [:(]
Maybe I should get Krul for my team.
But I do know one thing for sure. Warspite1 is always right: No more Spurs players in my team!

Just to bump this thread, a few bold statements;
Since Peter Schmeichel, the only really superior keeper to play in PL was Chech before his head injury.
David James would have been a superior keeper if he could only have learned how to behave in the field (on the line imo he was second to none, in the field he was second even to my then 1y/o niece...).
Sure, there has been good keepers in PL, but none of the superior ones. If we return to Schmeichel, how many points did he not win for Man.UTD (regrettably ofc, but nevertheless)?

Was going to get rid of Minolet but transferred Coleman out instead on Saturday morning.... nice going warspite
Still not to bad a weekend - the average was incredibly low this week. I guess Aguero, Suarez and van Persie not scoring helped.

Suarez is possibly right behind Messi and Ronaldo right now.
Four stunning goals and an assist
