Understood but the question was What do the Chinese and French want to do and I got Assault as an answer. I then went straight into dice roller and so didn't see you wanted to look at the Chinese map. As said, it's a problem with this form of communication, there is no need to apologise and if you want blitz then I'll just re-do.

Is this right? Why can't von Leeb reorganise the two German infantry in the mountains two hexes north and on a rail line

I think it's because his reorg value is 2 and there is 3 motorized mps to that hex. Sorry

Two attacks are announced.

The Germans attack the east most hex of the Maginot line. Two Stukas bring 3 factors of air support and combat engineers assist the German Mech.

The Japanese attempt to eliminate the salient in the Chinese lines. Their NAV and LND provide 3 factors or air support. Yamamoto throws his weight behind the attack (HQ Support succeeds on a 1).

Final odds. Which tables would the French and Chinese like to use?
