Major deployment of new applications at work is completed, as well as most of the "clean up" afterward. I may actually get to relax this weekend! [8D]

Then an Irish seven course meal - a six pack and a potato. Grab a six pack, a bag of chips, then sit down and watch a game . . .

Six packs tend to come in cans. Buy the whole case in bottles. And get the 2 for 1 family size chips/crisps.

Around here, I can get six packs in bottles. Some brands don't come in cans here, at least I haven't seen them.

Sadly I am stuck on the East Coast of the US where PBR, Miller Lite, Bud Lite, and Bud have large followings. I literally fumble for my wallet when I see something like 'Old Speckled Hen' on offer. But thankfully the craft beer industry has made inroads so there are alternatives to the mass market offerings.

Advice needed here. My doctor advises five fruit or veg a day and exercise. If it is made from hops and barley and there is a lot of running in the game would that count?

The exercise would be the 12 or 16 ounce curls as you bring the beverage container to your lips. The vegetable would be the dehydrated potatoes. One ounce of chips takes four ounces of potatoes. Add in any dip to include dairy. The beer is considered liquid bread, is full of trace minerals including silica which is needed for strong bones.

To help pass a kidney stone, drink lots of beer. To keep from getting them or dissolving one, drink or use an acetic acid solution commonly called vinegar.

I think any acidic juice will do the trick, so I prefer cranberry juice to vinegar.
When I was in hospital years ago the guy in the next bed had kidney stones. I overheard the doctor's bedside advice to drink a lot of water and eat little additional salt beyond that already in our foods when we buy them. Continuous flushing by normal osmosis of excess water is easy on the kidney. When it has to expend energy to do reverse osmosis (because the blood is not hydrated enough), it concentrates the salts and they may or may not make it out of the body with the remaining liquid. Dark yellow, pungent urine is a warning sign.

I know that I had a kidney stone removed surgically but they did not cut the skin. [X(]

The next 9mm one I passed with very little pain. I drank 4 ounces of vinegar several times a day for a few days. When it came out, it was as smooth as a river stone.

I eat more salt to get my sodium up and my potassium down. I have been in a situation where my sodium was too low and my potassium was too high. I felt like
