This particular DE is a favorite of my wife's family. It sank RO-108 , which sank LST-342 , killing almost all of her crew (and my wife's uncle or my father in law's brother). It's commissioning pendant and flag is in the Bremmerton Naval Museum (Pacific Naval Memmorial Museum ) in Bremmerton WA.
