I was thinking more along the lines of this guy - the Gorn's human counterpart?

- rumored to eat humans on occasion ... check

In response to the above comment on Newton's laws. The way I learned them in collage chemistry was...

1) You can't win.
2) You can't break even.
3) You can't get out of the game.

I'm sorry; I meant to say the Gorn is a 'Dodoist', one who believes in the power of flightless, extinct, Dodo birds.

Having read many of the Gorn's posts over the years, I'm prone to believing that he is a 'dodoist', but with a slightly different definition than what you propose. [;)]

He is not rowing - he is paddling a sea kayak (single oar with two blades) which requires you to face forward in the direction of travel.
