i'm sure Nik can derive the answer through statistical methods!! [:'(]
GOD this is so easy....STATISTICS show that US periscopes were far better constructed than Japanese warships. The Ship sunk was Shinano.......when Archerfish spotted this sorry excuse for a warship design, he decided to save the taxpayers some money and rammed it instead of wasting a perfectly good and STATISTICALLY superior American made torpedo.

"You Axis fanboys! Statistics PROVE that your A6M was nothing special....oh and by the way! STATISTICS show that our torpedoes were better than yours too. HA! I feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that you we beat you guys in every catagory. I can't stand it......how can one handle being so proficient!......gimmie a quad latte now......no foam!"
you forgot mines-are-all-you-need statistics.
I unfortunately have a copy of Steel and Torrie sitting on my shelf and whole set of SAS manuals

Can you substantiate that claim? I've seen no compelling evidence to prove that it was NOT in fact Shinano and that she was NOT sunk by periscope. STATISICS clearly indicated by the follwing 17 websites I shall post links too shortly proves that I am correct and that my statement is FACTually based.

Oh, dear - Terminus' name has still not returned to the "non-banned" members list... [X(] [:(] [&:]
I've checked on the "unbanning process" ... and apparently, once a person has done their time, they need to request to be let back in, there is no "automatic unbanning" by the forum software (or admins).
