Turn 37. Sep/Oct 1945. Allied #5.

Weather. Rain in the north temperate (i.e., Japan) and fine in the Med (Turkey) forces allied planners to rethink got allocation O-chits to knocking Turkey and hence the remnants of the 3rd Reich out.

Actions. All allies except the USSR take a land. Both the US and Great Britain play an O-chit to be used to double land combat factors in Turkey. This should (finally) be it for the 3rd Reich.

The USSR takes a super-combine, just so they can move their remaining naval units which they haven't moved all war!

Western Allies. O-Chits. The Brits indeed use their O-chit with Alexander in Turkey; however, the Americans decide at the last minute to switch their from Hodges in Turkey to Eisenhower in Japan. Only time will tell if that works out or not.

Western Allies. TTO. Apparently +1.5 in HQ support from Hodges and 79 factors in ground support from the RAF and USAAF makes up for not playing the O-chit with Hodges.

The Third Reich is now dead. It just won't know it yet unit the end of this turn.

Allies. Sea of Japan. Wow ... with both the US and Great Britain taking lands the allies though action in the Sea of Japan was off the table. But, in the spirit of allied cooperation, the Soviets who took a super-combine initiate combat in that sea area for the USN and RN.

Turkey. A little bit of "clean up" as both the Western Allies and Soviets race to claim German controlled hexes. Also, the Western Allies take care to position key units so that they can be railed.
