Horrible as this looks for the Germans, they are actually doing much better than they did historically.

I love that American screen in the way of the Soviets getting their points. I think maybe one last amphib operation at the Netherlands/Germany border breaks the camel's back?

A turn ago the only stable sector was the Alps. Now that area is wide open; the Western Allies should work on infiltrating through there. Don't attack (except for the single unit that can be hit from five sides), just ground strike and infiltrate. Of course the Americans should get out of the Soviets way.

Turn 35. May/June 1945. Allied #2. USN, RN. China Sea.
The combine forces of the USA and CW do find the lift and the troops to put together three invasion groups in the China Sea supported by the majority of the firepower of the combined USN and RN Pacific Fleets.
Based on lessons learned earlier, even with overwhelming firepower the allies opt for no combat in the China Sea.
NOTE: There's also two CW corps loaded on amphibious units present with the US forces.

Turn 35. May/June 1945. Allied #2. IJN. China Sea.
Japan, looking for a miracle, does opt to attempt to initiate a naval combat in the China Sea. However, it's the allies that get the drop on the Japanese. However, the allies decide to use the surprise points to avoid combat instead of risking their landing forces is possible future rounds. Again, a lesson they learned the hard way a few turns ago.

Turn 35. May/June 1945. Allied #2. Western Allies, North Africa. Ground Strike 1.
In retrospect, these air factors would have been more productive if used in ground support. Think!!!
