Yes unfortunately.[:D] Evidently the forum software wasn't allowing image uploads earlier today. Terminus was running a test.

The war cards are always a welcome addition.

Yea, me too. There are quite a lot of Xoings, Zoings, Bumps, Tithes, and sehtiT going on around here even though I'm guilty of it as well.

So why were you missing in action, business trip?

Not this time. I volunteered myself to review parts of the new manual and they needed it done by today. I had about 2.5 days for 148 pages (after my real job of course).[X(]

That's a lot of intensive reading and redlining.

Gotta tell ya a funny story... well, funny to me anyway. I've got this neighbor who is....well, kinda anal about some things. Like, if I get up and mow the grass as 9:00 on a Sat. morning, he comes out into his backyard and acts like I just woke him up. Well.. what ever!

Anyway, I just recently ordered the F4U Corsair video by "Roaring Glory Warbirds". It's good. The first part of the DVD has this test pilot giving you a walk-around of a still flying F4U-1A as well as a pre-flight check. He then fires up the engine and takes off with another plane acting a the camera plane.

Well, the DVD is in Dolbly Digital so I decided to turn it all the way up when he fired up that P&W 2800 Double Wasp......WOW!!!!! It totally shook the foundation of my house!! I let it play on until he took off and flew around a bit. Shortly afterward, I happened to look out the window, and there was my next door neighbor looking around, trying to figure out what was going on! [:D]

Oh yeah, that's funny.

My co-workers said we a Blue Angel over work (KSC) this week. I heard it but I didn't see him...............

I also picked up a video from Traditions Military Vidoes about Marine Aviation in the South Pacific duirng 42-43. There's two films on the DVD, one called Milk Run focusing on USMC SBDs and another focusing on the Corsair. Mostly black and white but some good color footage I've not seen before. I've only quickly viewed it, but plan on sitting down sometime this weekend to watch it all.
