Good day chaps [:)]  It's been a strange few days here, the British summertime is living up to expectations [:D]  The whole of Lincolnshire (almost) is under varying flood warnings.

Sounds like North Texas - except we are supposed to be bone dry in the summer... [8|]

What the deuce? [&:]  Where has the Thread gone? [X(] Thousands of pages of witty (?) and (totally ir-)relevant ([:'(]) discussion, gone, just like that [:(]

Actually, it is still on the War Room site... a new Thread was started as the old one was supposedly taxing the software (witness the Great Abridgement)...

Nope, it's graduate in polish but we do have the Absolut(e) vodka here...

Never tried this titos... but once when I was in the States while on a ship with my Dad I tried some corn destiled vodka in a plastic bottle, can't remember its name but it was quite tasty[:)]

Awwww, reading [:(] I may just wait for the movie [:D]

I've started reading through, it may take a while though. I'm also reading the last pages of Thread I as well. Is there any chance of somone explaining briefly and without name-calling etc what happened so I don't need to read everything (i'm too lazy [;)]) A PM would probably be best, to keep this place clean.

In other news: Anyone else heard about the dam near Rotherham? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/sout ... 239782.stm

Why does rain (and snow) always take this country by surprise. It's not as though we live in the desert, so why does rainy weather cause such chaos? [&:]
You don't see the Taureg people of the Sahara complaining about unexpected heat waves....
